How to buy a VPS anonymously

An anonymous VPS is a server rented without the provider knowing who you are: no documents, email or phone, paid in crypto. Below is the whole path from choosing a country to securing the server after purchase.

Step 1. Choose the hosting country

The country determines ping to your audience and how local law treats data requests. For sensitive projects choose countries with high or maximum protection.

Step 2. Create an account without personal data

Hushrack has no email or password: at sign-up you get a 16-digit account number that is your login key. We store only its hash. Keep the number in a password manager or on paper — it cannot be recovered.

Step 3. Prepare cryptocurrency

The most private option is Monero: it hides the sender, receiver and amount. Bitcoin, USDT, Litecoin and TON also work, but their blockchains are public. Either way, pay from your own wallet, not directly from an exchange account.

Step 4. Pay the invoice

  1. Add a plan to the cart and place the order.
  2. Choose the coin, network and amount. We suggest adding a month's renewal as a margin.
  3. Send the exact amount to the invoice address.
  4. Paste the transaction ID. Once verified, the order is paid from your balance.

Step 5. Secure the server after delivery

  • Change the issued password and add an SSH key.
  • Disable password login and root login over SSH.
  • Update the system and enable automatic security updates.
  • For maximum protection reinstall from your own ISO with disk encryption.

Privacy checklist

  • Access your account through the Tor mirror.
  • Enable two-factor authentication (TOTP).
  • Never share your account number — support only needs an ID like #1042.
  • Don't use nicknames or emails for the project that are linked to you elsewhere.
  • Follow the acceptable use policy: spam, phishing, malware and DDoS are prohibited in every location.

Frequently asked questions

Is it legal to rent a server without verification?

In most countries renting a server without identity verification is legal. You are responsible for what you host under the laws of the country where the server is located.

Do I need a VPN or Tor to buy a server?

We don't record IP addresses, but for maximum privacy the site's Tor mirror is the most convenient option.

What if I lost my account number?

Access can't be recovered: we don't store the number and don't know who you are. Save it right after signing up.
